ORLANDO, FL – A man who was shot at least nine times while in the parking lot of an Orlando 7-Eleven last month was able to drive away and flag down help.
According to ClickOrlando, the incident occurred at the convenience store within the 4300 block of Silver Star Road at about 1:30 a.m. on July 17. The victim was smoking in his vehicle when another car pulled next to him and began firing.
The injured driver was able to escape the parking lot and stop a passerby who called for help. Officials say the victim was able to describe his attacker while in transport to the hospital. He then underwent surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.
