ORANGE COUNTY, FL – The owner of an Orange County cafe and lounge has been arrested on charges of selling liquor at the cafe without the proper license, according to Click Orlando.
Officials say they were called to the Soho Cafe and Lounge on International Drive last month to investigate reports of the proprietors serving liquor. This was in violation of their current license which allowed only for the sale of beer and wine.
The owners were given a warning and agreed to refrain from distributing the alcohol until they received proper documentation to do so. However, when officials returned on August 7th, they discovered the Cafe had again been selling tequila, vodka, and gin.
Authorities arrested one of the owners who has since been charged with possession of alcohol with the intent to be sold without a proper license.
